Markus is a former founder of a Social Media Agency with focus on recruiting. He has a business background and has practiced the art of hiring for over 7 years.
Born and raised in Germany he obtained a Master of International Business from the HULT International Business School (ranked Top-1% world-wide).
After graduating, Markus helped two founders of the Venture Capital company Mustard Seed Impact to establish the business and build cooperations with leading universities. He advised funded start-ups on hiring.
The next few years he worked in a big cooperation to then change in a Small Medium Business with 70 employees. During the next four years he screened over 1,000 candidates and helped the company to grow to over 250 employees. It was the time during which he realised how challing it is to find the right candidates. He believed that it could be be done better.
While beeing a Venture Architect at AUDI Business Innovation the challenge of recruiting people was always in his head. That's why 9 month later he decided to leave AUDI to support companies in hiring best qualified employees. Therefore he established his own agency KLAPA Digital Recruiting which focusses on a mix of personality profiles, social media ads and a customised landingpages with clickfunnels for the role.
Realising that he could not occupy all positions using this style of recruiting he established his own executive search firm KLAPA CHASE. His executive recruiting and consulting style is both empathic and systematic. Empathic when it comes to engaging candidates and communicating with clients and systematic when it comes to driving the result, being transparent about numbers and progress and getting the job done on time.
